It was in 1882 when the local Ardèche economy in silk worm breeding was going through a crisis due to an epidemic, that Clément Faugier, a young local man, created the first ice chestnut factory in Privas. 
A gastronomic tradition, it combines innovation and daring, thus achieving the industrial production of Glossy Brown while retaining the qualities of craftsmanship.

Cream of chestnuts from the Ardèche:
Chestnut (50%), sugar, chestnuts, glucose syrup, water, natural vanilla extract. Prepared with 50 g of fruit per 100 g. Total sugar content 60 g per 100 g.


Store in a cool, dry place.
