It was in 1978 that CARTE NOIRE was created within the Grand’Mère Cafés, by the roaster René Monnier. Creator of the Arabica segment in a market dominated by Robusta, CARTE NOIRE is distinguished from other coffees by its round and balanced taste, that of a coffee roasted with a first great Arabica vintage of Brazil, and by its unique aroma that emerges from the opening of the package thanks to the invention of the guaranteed flavor valve.
